When you complete our hair analysis quiz and purchase a report, we collect:

• Hair profile data: hair type, length, scalp type, porosity, concerns, goals, and related lifestyle information you voluntarily provide
• Payment information: processed securely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or payment credentials
• Country of residence, for localising product recommendations and pricing
• Optional health-related context: hormonal context and scalp conditions, if you choose to provide them

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your data for the following purposes:

• Delivering your report: your quiz answers are used to generate and email your personalised hair care analysis
• Service improvement and AI model refinement: anonymised or aggregated quiz data and recommendation outputs may be used to improve the quality of our recommendation models and prompts. Individual data may be reviewed internally for this purpose
• Marketing communications: if you have purchased from us, we may contact you with relevant offers, product updates, or survey requests. You can opt out at any time
• Transaction records: we retain purchase records for accounting and legal compliance purposes

4. Sensitive Information

Some quiz questions ask about health-related topics such as hormonal conditions or scalp conditions. Providing this information is entirely optional. 5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate Tressence:

• Stripe – payment processing. Subject to Stripe's own privacy policy
• Resend – transactional email delivery
• Anthropic (Claude) – AI language model used to generate your recommendations. Quiz data is sent to Anthropic's API to generate your report and is subject to Anthropic's data handling policies

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal data and quiz answers for as long as necessary to provide the service and for legitimate business purposes including model improvement and marketing. You may request deletion of your data at any time and we will comply within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:

• Access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your personal data
